The gathering brought together longtime colleagues and friends around the European University Diploma in Physical Preparation, the DUEPP, hosted at the STAPS faculty in Lyon. It was a simple, warm occasion, marked by reunions, the exchange of experience, a few well earned retirements and, above all, the celebration of professional and human bonds built over many years.

For Performance First, the DUEPP is more than a line on a diploma. It is part of the methodology our founders carried home to Lebanon and built the club around: measure first, then train. The same evidence based approach to physical preparation that fills a classroom in Lyon is the one that runs our gym floor in Baabda every day.

Beyond diplomas and institutions, it is the people, and the relationships they build, that make the richness of our profession.

Some lessons do not come from a textbook. They come from twenty years of colleagues who keep showing up for each other, long after the coursework ends. That is the network behind the methodology, and it is one we are proud to keep alive.
